In Ports 2, the saga continues, accessing different characters and ports while taking a dive across the boundaries of life and death through the Septarine Portal to another world. Water still encompasses most of the globe, with only 12 ports and an unknown portal rising above the oceans. Much of surviving humanity lives on one of these diminished areas of land and the rest on various ships that dot the waters.
