this is a great addition to the series. I was kind of disappointed in the last book due to me not liking part of the overworld but this book definitely was more action-packed. I am a little sad it was the shortest to date but only 2 months until the next one so I can't wait to buy it!

good cultivation book start Little mad though

Good start to the story gets a little chaotic at the end. cliffhanger but I'm mad because audible shows three books in the series that I can purchase but their pre-orders only I really wish they'd stop offering pre-orders like yes I'll buy it but but why 6 months in the future or even 30 to 90 days come on

super good, surprisingly spicy

the things I liked about this book are definitely the system and with the bit of cultivator stuff, it's a good story. the pacing is a little too fast though
and I know it's expected because of the cover, but you don't really need the spicy scenes. the book is good without them and it might even be a little better if it was more just hinted but overall still giving it a top score

I can't believe they left us on a cliffhanger

excellent second book can't Wait for The next One The world building is really cool this cloak and Dagger thing is kind of confusing. but overall decently good story I just wish that anytime the protagonist would ask for help or at least let other people know what's going on.

Pretty good almost there

The story is decent the split of main characters unlike book one is a little jarring , but my only complaint was we didn’t get more Morgon and his wife. I didn’t really like the pirate character as much. Hopefully book 3 has more system Tom foolery.

The book is overall good. I’m six hours in and I’ve heard the same story of humans being stupid and I really wish that I was kidding but I think I’ve heard this story maybe nine or 10 times told the same way but differently it’s just dragging it kind of distracts from everything else. I will update when I finish the book but man, if I have to hear the story one more time about the hubris of humans…

Slow burn at the start

Story seems interesting weird, AI voice

The story seemed really interesting except for every three sentences it changes to an AI voice. This is unacceptable for a book that cost $40 and it pulls out the immersion and it’s just bad. I can’t focus on it either make the whole book voice to text or have the whole book voice acted. It is ridiculous. How bad it is .
