Historia
Leading in today’s dynamic, ever-changing environment is harder than ever. The stakes are high. Expectations of leaders have increased. Competitive landscapes are evolving at a quickening pace. The real challenge of leadership isn’t creating a vision for your team or building the right culture. It isn’t goal setting or communicating effectively. The real challenge isn’t even hiring or firing people. No, the real challenge of leadership is doing all these things at once when deep down you feel like an impostor.

Super practical and easy to listen to. So much wisdom in this book - wish I would have had it 10 years ago.

Historia
In 1518, in a small town in Alsace, Frau Troffea began dancing and didn't stop. She danced until she was carried away six days later, and soon 34 more villagers joined her. Then more. In a month more than 400 people had been stricken by the mysterious dancing plague. In late-19th-century England an eccentric gentleman founded the No Nose Club in his gracious townhome - a social club for those who had lost their noses, and other body parts, to the plague of syphilis for which there was then no cure.

Didn't know syphilis could be so fascinating.

I really enjoyed this book and the author’s style. I learned a lot and was very entertained by the way the book was written. Loved the message and the take-aways from all of the research done on diseases and plagues. I would have appreciated a bit cleaner language but most of the topics are not meant for younger audiences anyway.
