Historia
February 4, 2003, promises to be a typical day for Olivia Ross - a greeting card writer whose passion project is a screenplay of her own. But after she and a handsome actor have a magical meet-cute in a coffee shop, they make a spontaneous pact: in 10 years, after they’ve found the success they’re just sure they’re going to achieve, they’ll return to the coffeehouse to partner up and make a film together. The only problem? Olivia neglected to get the stranger’s name. But she doesn’t forget his face - or the date.

Best romcom I’ve read in a while
Revisado: 03-18-25
I can usually predict what’s gonna happen in these romcom style books, but I still enjoy them nonetheless. However, this book was very unpredictable and true to its title. I’ll definitely be rereading this again in the future.

Historia
Since her parents’ mysterious deaths many years ago, scientist Cora Sparks has spent her days in the safety of her university lab or at her grandmother Etta’s dress shop. Tucked away on a winding Cambridge street, Etta’s charming tiny store appears quite ordinary to passersby, but the colorfully vibrant racks of beaded silks, delicate laces, and jewel-toned velvets hold bewitching secrets: With just a few stitches from Etta’s needle, these gorgeous gowns have the power to free a woman’s deepest desires.

A feel good book..
Revisado: 05-20-18
I love the book Garden Spells by North Carolina author: Sarah Addison Allan and I can never get enough of the magically realistic life settings. This book has those same sweet notes of life choices, destiny and the gifts we each carry within and how we share them with others. Loved it and will definitely re-listen to this one!

Rediscovering Eckhert
Revisado: 08-30-17
I loved what Eckhart Tolle had to say in the books, The Power of Now and A New Earth, I consumed and relished them and sought out book club discussions on the topics years ago when they were first released. When Oprah had her podcast series with Eckhart I listened to it over and over. But though the message has always been something that feeds my soul, his delivery in the audio books were a somber. These audio speeches are AMAZING! I love that while not reading directly from a book, he has a sense of humor and that in itself, has brought the message a new tone that everyone can relate to. I finished this audio and began to play it from the beginning again. Not only is it delightful but it fills in the gaps that the books I mentioned above lacked.

Too many bible scripture quotes
Revisado: 10-15-11
I have always enjoyed Zig Ziglar audios and looked forward to this book being along the same lines. I read the reviews and saw that it did quote scripture but what I didn't realize was how much. I have no problem with bible quotes, but every 5 minutes in this long audio book is too much for me. I admit I could not finish the book but it seemed to have little real content in between the scriptures. If you looking for a motivational book that integrates the bible with Zig's past talk, this is the book for you. But if you're not a dedicated Christian, I'd recommend passing on this one.

Really works!
Revisado: 06-20-11
I have an 18 year old daughter and I wish I'd listened to this book years ago. I immediately saw results after applying the skills taught in this book and life has been much easier. I've gone through at least 3 or 4 other books trying to figure out how to deal with the teen drama and this book by far has been the best.
