I LOVE These Men!

This book was a great conclusion for the epic love story of Logan and Tate. It also sets side characters up for their own stories in other books. It's been a wonderful journey and I'll revisit this series again and again !

That Accent!

Healing

This book is whitty and heartfelt. The overall feel is healing. It has great banter between characters as they experience heartbreak of lost love and the discovery of new love. I truly loved this book and can't wait to listen to it again.

I enjoyed the story. It's interesting how the main characters meet and fall for each other. There's the big secret that inevitably comes out causing problems but a grand gesture ensures a happy ending. Slow burn to Mild spice.

Enjoyed the Story

It's a good read. Gay guy falls for (not so) straight guy. Roommates turned lovers. Not a unique storyline but it's told in a way that is still refreshing. Not a lot of angst. Spice level is mild/moderate. Narrator does a great NY Jewish accent.

Not bad, but not great, just okay.

The story premise is good. Two attractive strangers wake up in Vegas with hangovers and wedding rings. There's a complex reason why they can't get an annulment and they fall in love while working out a way to divorce. Of course there are complications, wouldn't be a good story without them; however, there are just so much to unpack! Patrick is a brilliant, successful surgeon in a major US city but somehow is able to pack up his life and move to a small town to be with Will. Will is filthy rich philanthropist who happens to be a son of a mobster. Patrick has strong Dr. House vibes and is on the spectrum. Will is an alcoholic coming out of an abusive relationship. Patrick as had an abusive childhood. Will also has a troubled upbringing. Adding to the complexity Will is diabetic. It's a lot. Their sexual chemistry is hot but is cringey at times. Overall, it was just an okay listen. The narrator did an awesome job, but Patrick did start to sound robotic towards the end. I don't know if that was just the writing or maybe even the narrator was tiring of Patrick's bluntness.
