Historia
It is the year 1715, and Thomas True has arrived on old London Bridge with a dangerous secret. One night, lost amongst the squalor of London's hidden back streets, he finds himself drawn into the outrageous underworld of the molly houses. Meanwhile, carpenter Gabriel Griffin struggles to hide his double life as Lotty, the mollies' silent guard. When the queen of all 'he-harlots', Mother Clap, confides in him about a deadly threat, he realises his friends are facing imminent execution. To the horror of all mollies, there is a rat amongst them.

A glimpse into the gay past!
Revisado: 11-09-24
What a story!! I was very much on my edge of my seat the last few chapters! What an emotional ride--your hope of love winning. A wonderful look at what gay culture may be been like in Victorian London. Highly recommend!

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Why Privacy and Respect are so Important
Revisado: 04-22-23
Thank you, Prince Harry, for sharing your truth, THE truth. This story is a powerful account of how important it is to respect everyone's privacy--to let everyone live their own full life, regardless of who their family is. It's 2023--the royal family has a vibrant history, but again--it's 2023, and they are people just like us--not a gilded flock of birds on display for our amusement. Media outlets everywhere, especially the British press, need to realize this. The British press need to be ashamed of themselves, as should the members of the royal family and royal household staff who have driven not only Harry & Megan, but many other royals and adjacent friends/acquaintances to these tortuous extremes. Us average peons down below can see exactly what you're doing--it's 2023; we are arguably more educated, wealthy, and kind than you lot could ever try to be. Thank you, Harry, for sharing your story--it has made such an impact on me.

Throughout the past year, teacher Chasten Glezman Buttigieg has emerged on the national stage, having left his classroom in South Bend, Indiana, to travel cross-country in support of his husband, former mayor Pete Buttigieg, and Pete's groundbreaking presidential campaign. Through Chasten's joyful, witty social media posts, the public gained a behind-the-scenes look at his life with Pete on the trail - moments that might have ranged from the mundane to the surprising, but that were always heartfelt.

Giving hope to rural LGBTQ people
Revisado: 12-23-20
Chasten’s story is brilliant—as a gay man growing up in Michigan myself, it was like reading my own story! What a wonderful journey Chasten could share and inspire younger generations to let them know it does really get better—just need to get through the rough stuff. I hope Chasten continues working in education and to educate others!

Historia
Once described by The Washington Post as "the most interesting mayor you've never heard of", Pete Buttigieg, the 36-year-old Democratic mayor of South Bend, Indiana, has improbably emerged as one of the nation's most visionary politicians. First elected in 2011, Buttigieg left a successful business career to move back to his hometown, previously tagged by Newsweek as a "dying city", and transformed it into a shining model of urban reinvention.
