The first of the 4 books was good but the rest lack and are awfully repetitive. The whole story is like reading a Sifi comic book. A really long comic book. Oh and by the way, where’s the 5th book....?

Too much detail to make the book longer and not enough action to make it interesting. I just don’t really understand the ratings on this book , I’m concerned that too many people are just bored with their lives and and story is better that what is really happening around the readers... turn off your TV’s-your being brainwashed- your becoming controlled zombies! This is not 4- to 5 Star!

loss of MAGA in our country

think people, back in 1973 Houston FM radio would NOT play Purple Haze by Hendrix because it was a 'drug' song.!!! now look at what you can see on your iPhones and listen to on your radio. The longer we listen to death and justified killing because it's an upgrade to humanity, the more we are programed to 'THINK' its normal! One college entry level psychology class teaches you that the longer you hear the lie, the more you have a tendency to believe it. That's more prevalent today than ever. WAKE UP.

A little more erotica!

I haven’t read a book by this author that I truly didn’t enjoy! A couple start a little slow but in time your surely be enthralled. This one is almost X rated but .... you’ll decide.

A little slow to start , but hang on!

Little slow to start but the ground work is being laid. Then hang on, its non stop action, and then more so! Really entertaining and not a book for a little reading here and there. Once it gets going you can't stop....just hard to find a place to take a break for the action. Great characters, well developed, its a FUN ride, fasten your seatbelt!

Worthless 3rd book

Don't expect anything like the 1st 2 books which were great and performed quite well. It was such a disappointment that the 3rd in such a good series could fail so miserably in the story line. Me thinks the writer had too much opium...

Better than avarage- a little

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I listen to better books, and worse, but I have a list of better that I would recommend before recommending this book. I am intrested in the sequel to this book. It has a slow first half of the book, but improves a great deal in the second half.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

I am intrested to the second, follow up book- the ending closed some doors but opened more that would be intresting to follow...

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

A female narrator, and quite good. But it was difficult to know if the character was a male of female from her voice and I would not prefer her to narrate the second book. i.e.- there was one situation where a male was talking about his spouse, who was another man, and they were talking about their daughter. See the confusion?

Did A Crown for Cold Silver inspire you to do anything?

I am going to listen to it again, refering to the first half, and see if the book comes together better the second time.

Any additional comments?

I found the 'Sister' character a complete waste of writing in the book foe she met her end with no fanfare; yet she was one of the major characters thru out the book.
