Amazing Story! Amazing Listen!

Once again Cynthia Wright created a story so deliciously intriguing I couldn't put it down! The beautiful descriptions of the Isle of Skye, the wonderfully researched history woven thru out, the amazing cast of characters that she creates and describes makes you feel as if you are right there along with Ciaran and Violette feeling the heartbreak, the love, the passion on every page! Oh what a tangled web indeed... the secrets that inadvertently bring these two together... where they are meant to be <3 LOVED every second of it! Add that to Tim Campbell's wonderful rendition.. the way his voice brings the characters to life is just magical!

Loved the Book... Love the Audio Version!!!

Once again the magic duo of Cynthia Wright's words matched with the &quot;he could read me the phone book and I would swoon&quot; voice of Tim Campbell doesn't fail to amaze! I loved the story the first time I read it, and now listening to it read by Tim... can it truly get any better? The way the characters just came alive. I felt like I was truly there as the story was being told. The ruggedly handsome Justin and Mouette the mother that would do anything to keep her family afloat had both built walls around their hearts for different reasons, and a plan to &quot;fake&quot; a wedding caused those walls to come crushing down, although not without resistance on Justin's part. He tried so hard not to fall in love with Mouette, her two boys, and the adorable Robinson (the dog), but in the end he found the family he always longed for and needed, although he didn't even realize it himself. Loved how this story weaved in history, and characters from other beloved books written by Cynthia. It's like coming home to family every time you recognize a beloved character shows up for a visit. &lt;3 Definitely a book worth reading and listening too! &lt;3

I must admit it threw me off a bit that Thomas and Aimee's accents had changed to those with a thicker French accent .. unlike in the first book.. (I literally went from listening from You and No Other right to this one lol), but after a while I got used to it and recognized the need for the change. Once again LOVE the combo of Cynthia Wright and Tim Campbell. Tim reading Cynthia’s beautiful story has brought Micheline and Andrew to life for me. The loss of what they once thought was love, and then the discovery of new true love in a manner neither were expecting! The history woven throughout, and the way that Tim is able to make it seem like you are there is amazing! Loved this book!

Wonderful story! Loved every minute!

Once again the duo of Cynthia Wright and Tim Campbell have done it! Loved this rendition of Cynthia's beautifully written story. Her words and his voice just made the characters come to life and jump off the pages. I felt as if I was there, taken back in time with Thomas and Aimee. I felt Thomas' frustration with Aimee's mischievous scheming that slowly became friendship and then love, which is certainly not what he had planned lol. I fell in love with these characters, just as I have with all the characters that Cynthia has written. You feel like you get to know them on an intimate level as if they are real people, and you are in some small way a part of their life stories. The way that Tim is so seamlessly able to speak all the parts, yet you can tell which character is which due to the changes of tone in his voice is amazing! I will definitely listen to anything these two work on together!

Where does Touch the Sun rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was wonderful! Enjoyed every minute of listening! I had previously red this wonderful book by Cynthia Wright and loved it.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Touch the Sun?

I LOVED the scenes of banter between Lion and Megan! &lt;3

Have you listened to any of Tim Campbell’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Tim has such a wonderful way of truly bringing Cynthia Wrights story to life with the way that he reads each character.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes I wish.. darn life gets in the way of my listening time too much lol ... but yes I could listen to Tim read any of Cynthia's book all the way from beginning to end!

I am an avid reader of Cynthia Wright's books... reading my first one over 15 years ago. I Love this series and find myself drawn into every story almost as if I was there an active part of these characters lives. This is the first audio book I have listened to from beginning to end and loved every minute of it! The narrator brought authenticity and class to the characters and kept me wanting to hear more! warning...don't listen while driving...I was so into listening to what was going on with the story when I was driving home from work yesterday I nearly missed my exit lol. Can't wait to hear their next collaboration!
