Historia
Feeling Great is based on 40 years of research and more than 40,000 hours treating individuals with severe mood problems. The goal is not just a rapid and complete elimination of negative feelings but the development of joy and enlightenment. In Feeling Great, Dr. David Burns reveals that our negative moods do not result from what's wrong with us, but rather - what's right with us.

The online videos kind of spoiled the book for me
Revisado: 01-28-20
I happened to read Find your WHY first, and that was what I needed and that book helped. I hoped listening to this one now would inspire me more, but it did not have that affect. In Simon's defense I did listen to a lot of his online videos, and I knew a lot of the stories already. That's maybe why this book did not have that much of an impact. Still agree with the idea and I use it daily since I discovered my WHY.

Historia
Up to 40% of people consider themselves shy. You might say you're introverted or awkward, or that you're fine around friends but just can't speak up in a meeting or at a party. Maybe you're usually confident but have recently moved or started a new job, only to feel isolated and unsure. If you get nervous in social situations - meeting your partner's friends, public speaking, standing awkwardly in the elevator with your boss - you've probably been told, "Just be yourself!" But that's easier said than done - especially if you're prone to social anxiety.

Very helpful
Revisado: 01-21-20
I was amazed at how many of the things I was going through were things applicable to many others. This book helped with my understanding of an personal issue (not ok feeling) I was having constantly for more than 4 years and how I was avoiding it.
