Historia
Colonel Joe Bishop made a promise and he's going to keep it; taking the captured alien starship Flying Dutchman back out. He doesn't agree when the UN decides to send almost 70 elite Special Operations troops, hotshot pilots, and scientists with him; the mission is a fool's errand he doesn't expect to ever return from. At least, this time, the Earth is safe, right? Not so much.

Science Fiction?????
Revisado: 05-08-17
What disappointed you about We Are Legion (We Are Bob)?
I've listened to numerous great Science Fiction books and love Science Fiction movies. I was ENTIRELY HACKED OFF when this story spent the first 2 chapters performing a stereotypical assassination of Conservative Politics, Conservative Policies and Christians. Blaming the fall our humanity to conservative simpletons who blindly and ignorantly follow these belief systems and do not allow freedom of thought and blinded earth with their hate and greed. The Book should have been named..WE ARE LIBERALS (WE ARE BOOBS). I am a Christian and a Conservative and I take offense to your character assassination. As I sit and watch the TV today I only see universities which used to describe their desire for tolerance and free speech. True.....as long as you say what they want and believe in what they believe in. I see riots and angry young liberals preventing anyone with a conservative thought from speaking. What they expose is they are exactly the opposite that they contend they represent. Shame on them and Shame on Dennis Taylor. When you splatter your thoughts like this you just continue to divide our country even more as you just gave 50% of the country the middle finger. Well....back at ya!
Would you ever listen to anything by Dennis E. Taylor again?
Would not waste a nickel on his work again. I thought it was Science Fiction, not a front to Liberal Political Satire. Be a man and call it what it really is. Bitter Liberal Diatribe.
Would you be willing to try another one of Ray Porter’s performances?
No way.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Total disappointment.
Any additional comments?
I want my money back. Next time I want to read or hear something like this I will attend the Democratic convention or spend the weekend with the Clintons.

The story was nice, but the wavering voice of the narrator became annoying. I've heard Dick narrate before, but there many times it seemed he was out of breath and was not going to be able to finish the sentence before he ran out of air. It was like.....no I can't do that to you because Tim does it too often in the book.

Nice liberal story with a tough guy
Revisado: 09-13-16
Typical depiction of War Mongering Republicans willing to start WW3 at all costs. Interesting tough guy willing to shoot people in the head, but with a soft dove heart. Can't someone pick an evil enemy other than big oil companies or the Pentagon. This story is NO Mitch Rapp!!!

Almost a home run. Sub Zero punch line.
Revisado: 04-30-14
What did you like best about Robert Ludlum's The Janson Option? What did you like least?
The story started out good. Interesting to see how corrupt the oil companies are as usual. I did become a bit upset when our hero became politically correct and would not use his weapon if there was a chance an innocent person might get hurt.
Do you think Robert Ludlum's The Janson Option needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
Maybe next time he will go for it and not get so soft when he has to fulfill his mission.

Only as a teenager did he discover the truth: his father was a spy, one of the CIA’s most trusted officers. At first the secret was thrilling. But over time, Scott began to have doubts. How could a man so rigorously trained to deceive and manipulate simply turn off those skills at home? His father had been living a double life for so long that his lies were hard to separate from the truth.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I did not enjoy the book. It was like I was reading his daily memoirs. Just reviewing everything his dad said and did for years and years. Got old fast.
