I liked this book a lot more than The powerful trick of believing but that is largely because the fact that the information regarding affirmations was new to me. I liked the focus this book placed on one topic and the depth covered. I wouldn’t consider it extensive but it was a fair bit greater then in the other book. And it was sufficient. I like how it said affirmations were said to be a tool and not magically going to do the work for you. I enjoyed this book!

While I certainly liked the book, I felt it offered a general overview of topics like LOA, affirmations, the power of your thoughts etc. It was rather short so more time would be needed to go into further detail. I am familiar with many of the topics discussed so it wasn’t particularly new to me but I did catch a couple new ideas. It’s acted as a good review/refresher for me. For a newcomer being introduced to these topics/way of thinking, I believe this book would serve as a good introduction to this kind of material. I liked the narrator as well.

I love the fact that it said to use an affirmation that you can believe in and not just a lofty one. Because believing in the affirmation is the most important part. I don’t hear that being said often enough. I like how its said to be used as stepping stones and not the end goal itself.
