I normally love this author, but this book is not where it's at. the storyline is horrible.I only continued for the narrators, after all it's not their fault that's what they had to work with.

The narrators did an amazing job. The plot is good and the spice is 🔥, especially the build up. My problem is this is not a series in the sense that most readers would think it is. This is not a standalone with inter connected books. This is a book serials or episodic series. I wish the author would have made that clear. No indication when the next book/s will be released. Chances are I won't read anymore of this book serials due to the lack of forthcoming from the author. Very aggravated that I wasted my time getting to know the characters and won't have a complete ending. Had I known I would have waited to listen to the entire book serials all at once to enjoy and devour.

This was by far the worst book I've read and ive read horrible books. Sure the spice was hot, but there's so much repetitive things said in every dang chapter it seems. The most annoying book and the plot is far fetched. Mafia...no, more like teenagers playing a stupid game.
