The beginning is intriguing and immediately draws you in. The writing is clever and well-crafted, complemented by the excellent narration of Jessie Elwyn, which perfectly distinguishes each character's voice. The mood is beautifully captured, enhancing the overall storytelling.

This is a fantastic story brimming with suspense and romance, and I highly recommend it!

Beautiful and heartwarming story

I enjoyed the book very much, the story is captivating and the characters enthralling. I read first the eBook and I was very happy to find out the audiobook was available. Heidi Bindhammer did an excellent job with the narration, she conveyed perfectly the characters.

This is a very beautiful and heartwarming story, Zari and Frankie are perfect for each other, their chemistry is amazing.
Highly recommended

A different kind of story of magical realism

This is the story of Selene who’s having good success as a writer, but after an accident that leaves her with severe injuries including a little loss of memory, she has to go back live to her childhood home in Healing Srpings. She also reconnects with an old friend Amy, with whom she gets a deeper connection. Her goal is to rebuild her life, but while doing so, there’s a mystery to be solved.

It is a very good book; it is as well a different story. This one goes with a lot of magic and mysticism, there’s a mystery too. It got me on the edge of my seat most of the time. I was eager to keep listening to find out what was going on and what was the truth behind the mystery. At points I was as confused as Amy but as determined as her to know what was going. It creeped me out a bit in a few places, but nothing that made me stop. Overall I enjoyed the story and the narration is excellent, I love the voices and I think Stephanie Montalvo did a brilliant job.

Wonderful love story

I enjoyed this story very much, was very funny, although has some hard moments. I enjoyed very much listening about this love at first sight story. I couldn't stop until I finished it. The chemistry between the main characters is amazing and the grandma is so cool, she is definitely my fav second character. Stephanie Murphy did an excellent job, it is fascinating to listen that something extra she brings into the narration.

Super hot story

This book is great; it is a very steamy one. Definitely not one to listen in public. I liked very much the plot and the characters. It is intense in more than one way. The BDSM is very well done.

The narration is excellent; I loved more Sloan's sexy voice. But Stephanie Murphy nailed perfectly the whole story completely, made me feel every bit of it and the characterisations are simply marvellous.

I’d definitively like to recommend this one

Great sequel (book 2)

Great series; this second book is still so powerful, the plot and the characters are so well developed and the light sexy BDSM scenes are always good and very hot.

Even when I wanted to slap Luce so badly more than once, due to her attitude towards Brooke, Isabella did a great job with the story and as usual, got me wanting more. I am more than ready for book three.

The narration is great, Victoria Mei does an extraordinary job, and she gets the complexity of the story and the characters, mostly Luce.

This series is definitely a must. Highly recommended.

intriguing and sizzling story

This is a great story, I enjoyed very much the action, the intrigue and of course the sizzling, sexy scenes.

The fact that the Yakuza boss is a powerful woman is one of the things that draw me to the story. The chemistry between the main characters is so palpable that you can almost hear the sparks every time they were close to each other. The plot and the characters are very well developed. I loved this book completely.

Victoria Mei did a great job with the voices and emotions. She conveyed perfectly well the story.

Can’t wait for book 2. I recommend this book completely

Good suspense thriller

I got to start saying the story is really good, but fair warning, is not an easy one and definitely not for everyone. Tosh Baker faces some serious and sensitive issues; as I mentioned it isn’t an easy story to read. But I got to say as well, she does an excellent job to get through and leave you at the edge of your seat wanting to read until the end.

The title well said twisted, it is and a bit dark. But then again, past that is a good suspense thriller. The characters are well developed and the way their romantic story grows is very interesting.

The end got me by surprise; I didn’t expect that at all. But I wanted to know more, so I started the sequel as soon as I finished this one.

If you can get past the sensitive issues, it is a recommended read.

It’s narrated by Natsumi Bailey, I’m sorry but I got tired at some point, she does well with the narration in general. But at some point, I couldn’t stand anymore the voice of one of the key characters to the story. Maybe is just me.
