Historia
In Jimmy Buffett: A Good Life All the Way, acclaimed music critic Ryan White has crafted the first definitive account of Buffett's rise from singing songs for beer to his emergence as a tropical icon and CEO behind the Margaritaville industrial complex, a vast network of merchandise, chain restaurants, resorts, and lifestyle products all inspired by his sunny but disillusioned hit "Margaritaville".

Biography or Discography?
Revisado: 11-22-23
1st, I enjoyed this listen. It gave a chronological order of his music career and intertwined stories of his youth and non-music success. It does however read like a discography at times and there is no direct interviews with Jimmy Buffett. Still worth your time if you to learn more about the artist.

Historia
Two-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize David McCullough tells the dramatic story behind the story about the courageous brothers who taught the world how to fly: Wilbur and Orville Wright.
On December 17, 1903, at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, Wilbur and Orville Wright's Wright Flyer became the first powered, heavier-than-air machine to achieve controlled, sustained flight with a pilot aboard. The Age of Flight had begun. How did they do it? And why?

Great advice. Practical tips
Revisado: 08-10-23
I appreciate when the authors read their own book.
I like the way this book is organized in a stepwise fashion. It is packed with solid pearls. Geared toward beginners in personal finance, but has plenty of good points for those further along in the game too.

Historia
William Bernstein's commonsense approach to portfolio construction has served investors well during the past turbulent decade - and it's what made The Four Pillars of Investing an instant classic when it was first published nearly a decade ago. This down-to-earth book lays out in easy-to-understand prose the four essential topics that every investor must master: the relationship of risk and reward, the history of the market, the psychology of the investor and the market, and the folly of taking financial advice from investment salespeople.

Historia
Jean McConville's abduction was one of the most notorious episodes of the vicious conflict known as The Troubles. Everyone in the neighborhood knew the I.R.A. was responsible. But in a climate of fear and paranoia, no one would speak of it. In 2003, five years after an accord brought an uneasy peace to Northern Ireland, a set of human bones was discovered on a beach. McConville's children knew it was their mother when they were told a blue safety pin was attached to the dress--with so many kids, she had always kept it handy for diapers or ripped clothes.

Revisado: 08-23-20
I have studied the Troubles and even traveled to Northern Ireland to tour Long Kesh and other meaningful sites. This book brings them to life. Comprehensive, or at least as much as possible. For those interested in learning more about Northern Ireland, The Troubles, and the complexity of that conflict I strongly recommend this book.
