Historia
On Earth, political tensions boil over between the United Americas, Union of Progressive Peoples, and Three World Empire. Conflict spreads to the outer fringes, and the UK colony of New Albion breaks with the Three World empire. This could lead to a Colony War. Trapped in the middle are journalist Cher Hunt, scientist Chad McLaren, and the synthetic Davis. Cher, seeking to discover who caused the death of her sister, Shy Hunt, uncovers a far bigger story. McLaren’s mission, fought alongside his wife, is to stop the militarization of the deadliest weapon of all—the Xenomorph.

Great Reader, Cheesy Writer
Revisado: 07-01-24
The reader is amazing, she did great, but find something else for her to read to you. Unless you enjoy something without much emotional substance like Alien 4 youre probably not gonna find what youre looking for here. There is probably one good scene in this entire book which was full of good payoff (for all the slow boring buildup with no atmosphere), but is it worth it to drag yourself through this entire book for one scene?
I'll leave that up to you.
For me, as a huge fan of alien, even this was kind of a chore to get through. But Finally I'm done with it. I appreciate the author having the opportunity to write for this franchise and I hope he gets another one to do it right the next time.

Historia
With the failure of Hadley's Hope, Weyland-Yutani has suffered a devastating setback - the loss of the Aliens they aggressively sought to exploit. Yet there's a reason the Company has risen to the top of the food chain. True to form, they have a redundancy already in place: the facility known as "The Cold Forge". Remote station RB-232 has become their greatest asset in weaponizing the Xenomorphs. However, when Dorian Sudler is sent to RB-232 to assess their progress, he discovers that there's a spy aboard - someone who doesn't necessarily act in the company's best interests.

Outstanding
Revisado: 06-09-24
Read a bunch of books in the franchise, and I think this one is my absolute favorite so far. If youre looking for a TON of xenomorph killing action, maybe its not for you. Its spread out a little. It focuses more on the corperate drama and the survival thriller aspect than it does the xenos. But the writer is so good that that doesnt even matter. This was fun.

Another great Keeble read
Revisado: 08-28-23
Ive been keeping up with all the books in this series since first listening to Trollslayer and I gotta say this is one of the best. Keeble once again gives it 110% to immerse you in an already great story. Its like a big budget Hollywood blockbuster with action, intrigue, drama, and all the humor youd need for an unforgettable adventure in the Old World

Another great Cybrarian production
Revisado: 04-18-23
God what an experience. Overall fantastic. While the story itself is a very nice escape onto a strange new world, the whole thing is brought to life by a very talented voice acting and editing. The bad news is that this is the only Cybrarian production I can find on Audible. The GOOD news is that they gave a youtube channel of the same name! I hope these guys get more work done for Audible or any other audio or podcast app. They always go above and beyond to immerse the audience with music, sound effects, different voices for each character, it feels more like one of those old radio shows from the 50s than any "proper" audiobook.
Well done!

Historia
Loch Ness holds secrets, ancient and deadly. Does a monster inhabit its depths, or is it just myth? Why, after thousands of reported sightings and dozens of expeditions, is there still no hard evidence? Marine biologist Zachary Wallace knows, but the shock of his near-drowning as a child on Loch Ness have buried all memories of the incident. Now, a near-death experience suffered while on expedition in the Sargasso Sea has caused these long-forgotten memories to resurface.

Great Reader, Okay story
Revisado: 12-11-22
This book had a very strong start with a good main character who had problems to overcome, a mystery to solve, family drama to unravel, the law on their heels at all time, a cult trying to hide the monsters existence from the world, just great stuff.
But then it got weaker as the story progressed. What happened, Steve? You write amazing endings. The ending for Loch really sucks. Its way too slow and happy with no real weight on anyones decisions. Idk, definitely disapponting but still interested in Steves other books.
5 traumatized scottish children out of 10, just average.
