Deep down here by the dark water lived old Gollum, a small slimy creature. I don’t know where he came from, nor who or what he was. He was Gollum—as dark as darkness, except for two big round pale eyes in his thin face. He had a little boat, and he rowed about quite quietly on the lake; for lake it was, wide and deep and deadly cold.

So many feelings

I don't think I have ever read a nonfiction book that has made me feel so many different things. I got excited, I was intrigued, I got frustrated, I got angry, I cried, all while reading The Disordered Cosmos. It was an absolutely lovely, beautiful, and informative book that now has a spot on my 'favorites' bookshelf. I excitingly await more insight from Chanda Prescode Weinstein.

Definitely just not for me

I don't think I really like this author at all. this book definitely had its moments but its the slowest book I've ever read. Honestly I feel it would be way better if it was just a short story.
