And things get even trickier when Sunny and her brother are caught sneaking into the local swimming pool....

Touched my heart.

A powerful story that gave me clearer insight and understanding of the civil rights movement in the 1960's. The blending of facts and historical background really helped bring the story alive. Overall it was an amazing story that had me laughing and crying plus it taught me US history (which many of the social issues then are still here today! Excellent read.
