Historia
The host of Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson Tonight offers a blistering critique of the new American ruling class, the elites of both parties, who have taken over the ship of state, leaving the rest of us, the citizen-passengers, to wonder: How do we put the country back on course?

Profound perspectives
Revisado: 01-06-24
I love Tucker's matter-of-fact ironic way of describing the absurd behavior of people who truly believe they are better than everyone else, and who only want to be in charge of everybody else.

No Credibility. Just ONE bias taints all.
Revisado: 05-06-21
I am deleting this because my self respect is challenged by the slanted coverage I'm seeing. As an older adult American who've been in positions to see what the world is comprised of I can't tolerate being manipulated by the almost religious zeal of this publication toward foisted their political agenda on the people who are unfortunately misled by their reputation. JUST ONE BIASED, INACCURATE, INADEQUATELY RESEARCHED, SLANTED ARTICLE TAINTS THE CREDIBILITY OF ANYTHING THEY MAY PROMULGATE.

Can't Trust Content
Revisado: 01-26-21
I am appalled that the publication decided to betray their obligation to be journalisticly honest and unbiased, and to HONESTLY attempt to present all reasonable sides of the news. Their treatment of President Trump was notably dishonest, biased, and insultingly coordinated with other character assassin's in the media. I am worldly enough to know when I am being herded toward political propaganda. I'm not just disappointed, I'm insulted. I can't trust this publication.

You know her voice. Now hear her story.
Audible has teamed up with Rolling Stone to produce an uncompromisingly honest Audible Original that honors the life and legacy of the incomparable Aretha Franklin. Aretha’s universal appeal was evident from the release of her first album at age 14 through her nearly 50 Top 40 hits. Yet this intimate biography reminds us that Aretha knew pain as much as she knew glory. It was the blues, residing deep within her soul, that gave way to a voice able to lift millions with a profound sense of freedom, self-worth, and undeniable talent to rise above sorrow.

Gave up.
Revisado: 02-19-19
I love the subject. I loved my image of Aretha. She is an icon in my music and entertainment lifetime enjoyment. As a person who was watching all my 66 years I feel like I developed a fairly realistic view of talented people who give us so much pleasure by sharing their gifts. We don't really know that much, and most of the time that is a good thing because we get to mix our experiences with their art. This book doesn't help understand any more than Aretha's career progression. It seems to be only a chronology with some gingerbread sprinkles about her privileged associations and commentary from elites who certainly recognized and testified to her solid and laudable abilities. But for me, nothing new. I felt like I was reading a bandwagon account of a derivative biography.

Historia
Arthritis reversal is more about human potential. On doing research for this audiobook I studied several body-building groups. I found one in Japan where the minimum age is 75 years. That's right; you have to be 75 years old to join. A lot of people think that as we age we're supposed to break down, and that's not true. If you don't drive a car, the car is going to last a long time; but if you don't drive a body, it's going to break down early. With human beings, the more we use our body, the longer it works.

Genie Out Of The Bottle
Revisado: 05-11-16
I've read several books by Ric Edelman, and became convinced that he is bona fide because I was lucky enough to have stumbled onto his method by - luck, trial and error, or, more likely God's grace. I was able to get out of debt and build a substantial retirement savings over the years using they same principles and method he describes. I just didn't know how, not could I teach out to my kids. This allows me to pass on what I was so desperate to tell them in a thorough, eloquent, enjoyable way. Mr Edelman's method and approach is not only insightful, but is well thought out. I enjoyed his reading style and his ability to stress the important points to get his point across to his audience. The book was full of examples that didn't require me to get out my calculator or dictionary. I was delighted. Great education while driving!

Fundamentals!
Revisado: 04-03-15
I did not really understand what I thought I knew. Many people talk about money in a way that assumes we already know how the financial systems work, and, at least I, was too ignorant or too proud to admit that I really didn't. Ric makes no such assumption, and gives you what you need. This is fundamental.
