Too much minutiae in the dialogue. Story moves very slow with some excitement in the last few chapters.

Historia
Every day without fail, Travis Devine puts on a cheap suit, grabs his faux-leather briefcase, and boards the 6:20 commuter train to Manhattan, where he works as an entry-level analyst at the city’s most prestigious investment firm. In the mornings, he gazes out the train window at the lavish homes of the uberwealthy, dreaming about joining their ranks. In the evenings, he listens to the fiscal news on his phone, already preparing for the next grueling day in the cutthroat realm of finance. Then one morning Devine’s tedious routine is shattered by an anonymous email: She is dead.

Revisado: 08-07-22
Travis Devine is sure to be Baldacci's next US Army hero. Story moves at a fast clip and keeps you guessing. The ending was a minor disappointment but the narration keeps the interest throughout. Look forward to the next Travis Devine story.

Not his best effort
Revisado: 12-02-21
The narration was boring. All the voices sounded the same. The story was typical Grisham with some mystery and some suspense. I have read all his books and I would put this one in the bottom 25%. Not a fan of this novel.

Great use of Aaron Paul but story is a bit thin.
Revisado: 06-18-21
Liked all the characters as this is not the standard audio book that usually has one or two narrators doing all the characters. The story is average with a mini surprise ending that was not a real shocker. Beau Bridges also was good in his role. Not really up to most James Patterson works. If you have 4 hours to kill it’s not bad.

Historia
It was one hell of an inheritance for former Chicago reporter Tom Coleman: a broken-down pickup truck, ramshackle campground, a canoe livery - and one pot-smoking, barely working employee he doesn’t need, doesn’t want, and can’t afford. But the truth is, after losing a child and a marriage, Tom doesn’t really care.

Average that had potential
Revisado: 03-25-21
Narration was like watching paint dry. The main character is interesting but the story has a lot of holes and doesn’t quite click. The plot gets confusing toward the end like the author had to end it after he wrote a certain amount of pages. Very disappointing.

Not Roberts best
Revisado: 09-15-20
Too much filler about life in Tennessee and basically 29 chapters of fluff. Not the suspense one would expect from this author. Very predictable after the 3rd chapter. The narrator was the only positive aspect of the book.
