WTF?
Revisado: 11-11-24
Story is a big waste of time. There's no character development and the story goes nowhere .It's like the author had no idea where the story was going ,multiple ideas with no connection. l kept listening hoping it would get better or at least there would be some sort of climax only to be let down with an abrupt ending. I'm screaming mad l can't get back the time l lost listening to this rubbish!

Historia
It’s the summer of 2019, and Professor Pi Suleman is a Black man from Memphis with a lot to endure - not only as a Black man in Trump’s America but in his hard-earned career as an adjunct professor. Pi is constantly forced to bite his tongue in the face of one of his tenured colleague’s prejudices and microaggressions. At the same time, he’s being blackmailed by a powerful professor who threatens to claim he has assaulted her, when in fact the truth is just the opposite, trapping him in a he-said-she-said with a white woman that, in this society, Pi knows he will never win.

Great story
Revisado: 04-23-19
Great story over all, however the plot tends to flatline at some parts and listening becomes tedious and redundant but not so much that it affects the quality of the story.

Tiffany can't avoid being funny: it's just who she is. But The Last Black Unicorn is so much more than a side-splittingly hilarious collection of essays - it's a memoir of the struggles of one woman who came from nothing and nowhere. A woman who was able to achieve her dreams by reveling in her pain and awkwardness, showing the world who she really is, and inspiring others through the power of laughter.

This was an interesting book, l applaud her realness . However the writer's way of relating her story is at times very immature and annoying but other times very deep and insightful which makes you empathize and cheer her on knowing She will eventually come out on top.
