This is a must listen!

If you like suspense, mystery and unexpected turns, this book is for you! I enjoyed the split story line of the book and enjoyed the break in between each segment. You learned a little more each chapter, be it historical events, or details from the current events in the books. Merging all you learn from the past and present made me try to figure out the ending ahead of time. Right when I think i have nailed it down, some other detail would derail my whole thought process. Made it very easy to want to keep going. All the characters are very well developed and easy to like, or dislike in some situations. The narrator was wonder! Easy to listen too but was able to have a distinct style for each character in my opinion.

Not my favorite narrator

The story would probably be good with a different narrator. I tried for about 45 minutes, but just couldn’t follow through. Unfortunately, just not the narrator for me.

Wow! Couldn’t turn it off!

First, the narration was rock solid. Second, Gluhm’s storyline kept me on the edge of my seat and guessing the entire story. I struggled to ever push pause or turn it off to go to bed. I just had to know what happened next. I couldn’t have predicted the plot and couldn’t be more pleased with the result of the story. I’ll be buying every book she pens.

I’ve listened to almost 100 audiobooks in the last 8 months and this duet ranks in my top 3. I could not stop listening. I absolutely loved all of it: storyline, performance, and all the emotions it made me feel. It’s a beautiful romance, not not over the top focused on sex. Every bit of this duet had me invested in the story. K. Bromberg thank you. You did a phenomenal job. Andi and Joe, I love when you work together! You did great on another one!

Joe and Erin are absolutely amazing! They’re great individually, but together they’re just impeccable. This one was such a great book with the perfect narrators to match! Way to go, Lauren, Joe, and Erin!

These two narrators are my favorite! They work well together. They did a great job with the story. The storyline was awesome. It felt like reliving a good, old love again.

Worst female narration

I made it through the story, but barely. The female narrator was the worst I’ve ever heard. It was extremely difficult to get through the story, but the male narrator made it better. Her voice took away from the would-be good story. It’s a good thing the book was short or I would have just stopped listening to it altogether.
