As good as the first book
Revisado: 09-03-23
The first book is my favorite, I didn’t love 2 and 3 but 4 is definitely worth the price. I’m going to listen over and over again

This book is so good!! I have listened to my audible twice. I love how well it’s written and performed. Seriously one of the better authors of this genre. I personally enjoy the religious aspect incorporated and the development of the characters. I always wish they were longer.

Yet another hit
Revisado: 05-20-19
I really enjoyed the build up of this storyline. I was sad to see it come to an end as it pulled me in enough that I felt like the characters lives could easily continue. I loved listening to the whole story more than once and this isn’t often true for me. I have enjoyed all of Mark Godwin’s books and you can really see him developing as a writer. This series is very entertaining and I highly recommend

Not up to her normal standards
Revisado: 04-06-19
I have a certain expectation when listening to my favorite authors. This story is not as well thought out with scattered juvenile comments that just are not doing it for me. I couldn’t finish. That’s a first for me when listening to Fern Michaels. I don’t care for the narrator. It sounds like her first performance. I’m so disappointed

Really enjoy this author
Revisado: 02-21-19
I really liked the plot in this book, it moved along at a quick pace, building the story and the background with plenty of detail to draw a picture in your mind. There was a lot of death involved, but perhaps that’s the way it would be in that situation. I really did enjoy this book and look forward to the next installment

Loved this series, loved this author.
Revisado: 07-11-18
I can never wait for a sale when a Mark Goodwin book comes out. I always have to have it right when its released and I am never disappointed. I listen to his series of books over and over and over again. In book three: United We Stand, he keeps you on the edge of your seat. The author has shown the growth and maturity of the heroine, and the frailty as well as there are no super heroes. Thanks for yet another great series. I look forward to the next one.
