Always remember
Revisado: 11-16-22
I had to set this one aside for a bit as the stories were too troubling. But after listening to the Things Our Fathers Saw regarding the air war in Europe, I felt compelled to continue. I'm sure Matthew had to fit in so many accounts. The book really took off with the rescuer interviews and the resulting reunions. Thank you so much Matthew for using your passion for history to create these books. As a 25 year veteran and aircrew member, my experiences pale vs what the youngsters fighting in WW2 experienced. I pray we don't get so far removed that our current leaders forget the horrors of war. Let us not though be indifferent to the evils in the present times.

I can relate to aircrew stories after serving in the 90s as a navigator on the C-141 dropping paratroopers. This is a well researched book and should be experienced by our current generation. The narrator and author did a great job. The accents helped a lot. Great experience

Can't believe I haven't heard about this book as a Catholic. please read and heed, as we're seeing the early stages of potential world conflict, possible nuke use, the rise of communism, decline of the world economy, etc. Please repent, go to confession and turn your life over to the will of the Father.

Buy this book. Never assume your departed loved ones are in heaven. Pray for them. I wish the church would emphasize this more. God is loving but just. Some very chilling examples of poor souls who have appealed for prayers and offerings.
