I’ve listened to most of the James Lee Burke’s Novels. But this one is my favorite so far.

This book was easier to follow than most of the Dave Robicheaux books. The characters go off script somewhat. Vengeance is the driving force . But it’s a hard task with so many red herrings. Loved this one.

Big ideas in such a precise narrative . Wonderful , clever, a simple bum, a brilliant bum, and Karma is the winner.

A small slice of an interesting story. Simple man, thinking man, a seemingly simple plan. Will Patton always paints the picture for me. Highly recommended for a quick read .

I’d skip this one. It’s well voiced and you think it may be interesting , but not this one .

I usually love all the audible originals , but was disappointed in this one. These people are supposedly great friends . Maybe it’s a case of keep your enemies close. And there was really no explanation that I could discern. Best things were it was free and short .

I thought Snow Angel was a very interesting book. Well written and a new type of writing for me.

I loved all the characters in this story, They were well rounded in their personalities and relationships. One of my favorite books now. The older I get I love “it Darker “ I can’t get through most popular books. I highly recommend this author .

A good story and delivery !

All of these books are like old friends. The ones that have been to jail, cuss like sailors, and drink like fish. As long as yous knowin what you’re in for. As for the new moral majority reviewers , they’ll hate it. And isn’t that enough reason to listen ?

A long story, I’ve listened to it several times. My dog loves Will Patton’s voice. This is one of my favorites .

A very involved story. I would not recommend until you feel you know the families. No way to appreciate it in my opinion , until you’ve gone through everything with these guys. I love them all .

Really enjoyed Brain Damage! It’s one of my favorites this year.

Having been through so much medical mishaps and treatments , I thought Charlotte was a great character. The fact that every person in the story was developed to some point was very engaging. I have liked most of Freida McFadden’s novels. The narrator was perfect for this story. I would recommend it to anyone.
