Becoming a leader in the “bro culture” of technology is a challenge for any capable woman—but it can be even more treacherous for mothers. Few women understand this better than Emilia M. D’Anzica and Sabina M. Pons. Upon comparing stories about raising children while working in tech, D’Anzica and Pons wondered: What would it take for their male-dominated industry to appreciate working mothers? Distilling wisdom from interviews with over 300 tech industry leaders who are moms themselves, D’Anzica and Pons have assembled the ultimate list of tips, strategies, and resources.

"Pressing ON as a Tech Mom" is an informative and inspiring book!!! I honestly loved it so much I read it in 2 days. I found the book to be relatable and practical. The authors share their personal experiences faced by tech moms to balance work and family life.
The Emilia and Sabina interview 12 different female leaders in the tech industry. I particulary loved the anecdotes section, where the they shared stories from working moms who have managed to achieve success in the tech field. This book touches on combating imposter syndrome, why mothers belong in tech, how covid-19 impacted working moms, how to ditch mom guilt, and inspiration to break barriers. It was empowering to read about women who have faced challenges but persevered and became successful in their respective careers. I would even challenge and say that the book is also for MEN in the tech industry to understand the challenges their female colleague face. Beautifully written and inspiring! It's a must read.
