I waited a long time for this

I followed the series since the beginning and waited a long time for this one to finally come out and while it was an enjoyable listen it is very different from the rest of the books in the series it feels like the author didn't like where the story was going and decided to just reset everything and starts from scratch but the story still good I still enjoyed it keep doing what you're doing and the New Direction it's going seems fun

this was a bit of a weird one

I have listened to 90% of books by this author and his other pen names and this is by far the strangest of them all not bad by any means and certainly gives you an interesting perspective you don't see very often it is a bit of a slow burn though I would be interested in hearing more from the series it just feels like it came out of nowhere considering the overarching plot for his other series

great but sad

another great story though I do wish there was a slightly happier ending for the goblins I keep hoping that more then erin we'll treat the goblins and the antinium like people. I'm also glad that this book and the last had almost nothing of ryoka she is not my favorite character and could gladly go without seeing any more of her. other characters I would like to see more of are Emperor Laken or that doctor lady I can't remember her name. some other characters I could go without seeing are the hero group really don't care about them. I really just want to see more of erin but I know it can be hard to focus on a non-combat character and make it interesting

a relaxing read

I love listening to this book it was so relaxing and fun at the same time. the characters were colorful and entertaining and it gives you time to get to know them without rushing into any big overarching story. so many other books fall into the Trap of rushing into a big story. I can't tell you how many times I started a book where I just want to enjoy the characters for a little while without some big threat coming to overtake the story but the author feels like they need to rush into some overarching plot to keep the reader's attention. the one negative I can say is that I would have liked to see a little action from the main character it didn't need to be a lot but I would have liked to seen something from him but that's a minor thing

it's definitely better than the last two and I'm definitely glad Olaf wasn't in it I really hope she drops the plot line of making him a romantic partner but there's still problems despite the improvements but at least she didn't treat it as if it would be the first book people would read but she still repeats things over and over again and the book itself felt like it was just part one

love the survival aspect

I don't get all the hate for this book. I love the added survival aspect. I listen to this book when it first came out and I enjoyed it then but didn't leave a review after seeing all the hate it's gotten I decided I needed to leave a positive review even if it's late. well the series as a whole has some issues mostly overcrowding with too much stuff for the main character to actually do all of it it's a fun ride overall. I can't wait for the next book and I've been waiting a long time now I hope it comes out soon.

one of my favorite new series

I've loved the series from start to end and I'm really sad to see it end. I would love to see another book in the series continuing the adventures hoping to see Preston Alex and Wes get to level 100 and what aspect they would unlock. this Series has some of the best humor I've heard in a long time on the whole it was just a weird wacky good time.

all right that was great. one of the funniest books I've read in a long time. princess donut the queen an chunk (sorry for the spelling)was delightful and just picturing Carl running around in heart boxers was super funny but probably the best part was the achievements I don't know how many times I busted out laughing because of the sarcastic AI I can't wait for the next one.

glad to see it back

I'm really glad to see this series back it was one of my favorites for a long time and this one doesn't disappoint I love hearing about the characters years later and I have no complaints about the story whatsoever the only minor issue is with the voice actor I really wish they'd kept the original cuz this one pronounces some of the names wrong and it's a minor thing but it still bothers me a little bit but otherwise 10 out of 10
