Was not sure even Daniel Pink could carry off a whole book on regret. However, the weaving of historical research, his own new research and storytelling made for complex and informative work. Thanks for another great offering.

Loved the concept of Management debt as a variant of Technical debt. Reminds me of the ideas in The Titanic Effect which offers lessons learned the hard way, for early-stage startups.

Appreciate Ben sharing how they formed A16Z and why. As a B-School professor, I cringed a few times as he told the story of OpsWare thinking that some business training might have prevented some painful lessons.

Love the ending - celebrate that being an entrepreneur is a struggle. It’s hard. Find others who will share the struggle with you.

After listening to the chapter I’m appreciative inquiry, I actually tried this technique in my next difficult situation. It did lead to reducing tension and getting to a better outcome.

Although the title is “Do Better Work,” the ideas are really about living a better life. They are reminders of the better way to interact with anyone else.

The author does a great job of narrating the book. You clearly see his passion for the ideas as he speaks. A thoroughly enjoyable listen.

Easy-to-listen-to guide on finding happiness!

For the person who feels stuck, the author describes a process for figuring out how to find happiness again. The process is simple, although the work at each step may be hard. By sharing the gut-wrenching story of his own life, Tom Dutta makes it okay for others to explore their own tragedies. The opening stories for each phase are beautifully written. They could be readable stories in their own right. Most people have deep pains they try to ignore. The Way of the Quiet Warrior shows how to use those pains to find a path for success.

Very easy to listen to and follow what you need to do next.
