I love Anne of Green Gables already, but Nancy Peterson’s narration brought it to life. I forgot I was listening to a narrator as her voice crafted the characters so well that I felt surrounded by the sights of Prince Edward’s Island and the indomitable Anne, with an “e.”

This was a fun mystery with several twists and turns that kept me guessing. Things are not always what they seem.
Nancy Peterson with the golden voice delivers another great performance!

Do Not Miss This!

Lilia was subjected to the horrible events that happened in northern Italy during the war but never lost the spark of life and tenderness that allowed her to become such a wonderful human being.
The part that really made me cry the most was the end of the book where Lilia and Linda Ganzini give background notes to the story. I felt closure for some of the saddest parts of the story as Linda told about her miraculous meeting with Arturo’s friend.

A mystery that keeps you guessing!

This is a great audiobook for a cosy evenings. There are plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing. I am excited for the next one. I have fallen in love with the characters in this sleepy little town.
The story was brought to life by the incredible Nancy Peterson with the golden voice!

Nancy Peterson's narration is flawless. I noticed that her immigrant characters' different accents matured and became more subtle as they aged, taking on a bit of the Nebraska flavor, while others stayed the same (the older folks), and yet others lost their accents entirely. I forgot I was listening to a narration.

Nancy Peterson breathed life and meaning into this old classic. I loved it from the second I heard her delightful rendition of the judgemental women in chapter one!
