Back the Blue…

It is an absolute horrific tragedy for all but my heart goes out to the Mattingly family, officers and their families. I have always been a supporter of all emergency responders. This story tells the true hardship and reality that officers go through and a clear picture of how the media ONLY cares about ratings and what the viewers want to hear! I experienced this same thing in Afghanistan with rioters and our base being attacked. The media was so far off, but the excitement, stress and mystery made headlines. BS… I will be passing this book to my son who is looking to get into law enforcement. He needs to hear this story. God bless our protector’s.

A very interesting and inspiring man

Great stories of his upbringing, military experiences and as an adult with family. Overall humble man who instilled trust in his team's and truly cared about what he did and his people.
Highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for inspiration as a leader or learn about who Colin Powell was.

Insightful for Beginner/Struggling Speakers

I feel this book has tons of great information for someone who is building a speaking business. I've been in a speaking program with just about every tool needed to get booked and paid to speak, but this book "Do it Speaking" has a lot if the same information just said differently and even adds some more details in certain places or with a different twist. These critical details clicked with me in this book, like a bunch of AH HUH moments like how to Google search a specific trend or issue within the industry your in. Not that I didn't know some of this, but this book is easy to understand with a great pace of information laid out.
I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in being a professional speaker.

Life Changing, amazing book & story

I am an inspiring speaker who's hit several road blocks like my message, who to speak to and some confidence. I have read it and listened to the audiobook twice. This book keeps it simple and breaks down the journey of a message and puts it in a way that's easy & relatable to understand. I bought the audiobook and 2 hardcover copies, one for me and one for a close friend of mine who is building his speaking career also. This book is based around a preacher with religious bases but regardless of religion (which I love the connection) this books purpose is for most anyone: preacher, professional speakers, coaches, teachers of every kind, politicians or anyone who wants to influence anybody.
