Historia
"It will be okay," she said, soothingly. "I'm going to hurt you, but it will be okay. As long as you obey me absolutely, I'm going to free you from all of those bad, guilty, big boy problems. You'll be my happy little boy; I promise. Now ask Mistress Mommy to punish you." I was barely able to fight off the urge to cry, gave a single sob - of gratitude or fear or disgust or confusion, of desire or pain or relief or incredulity - and did as I had been told.

Mistress Mommy
Revisado: 01-21-18
The writing was very creative and I admit that I snickered at Mistress Mommy's fine propoganda campaign. Definitely planning to read more by this author and hopefully a title or two more makes it onto the Romance Package or Whispersync deals. Count me as a new fan!

Absolutely fantastic

Love the way the writer is so experienced and authentic but writes with twists of humor and irony.

Historia
Speaking Sex to Power charts Patrick Califia-Rice's provocative views, which often conflict with not only mainstream society but also much of the lesbian, gay, and feminist movements. Along with essays on antiporn feminism, the Bush cabinet, and repression of S/M, Califia-Rice writes of his decision to undergo a sex change.

Stumbled across this book and am thrilled
Revisado: 12-06-17
Where does Speaking Sex to Power rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Stumbled across this as one of the only non-fiction pieces that came up as free with the new Audible Romance Package (I'm not normally a fiction reader) and decided to try it out. Not only am I enjoying this piece, I find myself really inspired by the chapters.
Already went to purchase another book by this author (via Scribd book subscription) "Public Sex" and looks like I had previously started reading another book by Califia-Rice in the past, "Sex Changes: Transgender Politics," but it was removed from Scribd before I could finish.
This audiobook is fantastic in content and well-read by narrator. The narrator's tonal range and accent on certain words made the articles sound like speeches, and added the right amount of power behind those words.
Hoping to see more by Califia-Rice via Scribd, Kindle Unlimited, Audible, etc.
What a powerful voice.
What about Marc Bachmann’s performance did you like?
The narrator's tonal range and accent on certain words made the articles sound like speeches, and added the right amount of power behind those words.
