Too close to home

Although this book held my attention and I couldn’t stop listening... it was terribly upsetting. Even though I knew what was coming it didn’t ease the final conclusion for me one bit. Maybe it’s because I could relate having a teen daughter myself.. tears were flowing in the final two chapters and epilogue which has never happened to me. I’ll need to listen to some light hearted stories to get over this one. Lara Mack, Ellie and Poppie will stay with me

One of my favorite BOSCH stories

I really liked this story. I have read several newer stories and all of the older ones. This gives us a look at how it all began for Harry. It also lets us know what happened to his mother. I got a little tired of the story near the end but overall one of my favorites

Yes, the time on vacation. I hated to think of that girl because it reminded me of Natalee Holloway.

Although this book was not listed as a top Harry Bosch book, I really liked it a lot I thought the story was very interesting and thought provoking.

Harry Bosch books are all very good. I love the character.

I have skipped around and this is actually my third story. I wish I had read them in order. This was a great introduction to Harry Bosch. I will continue reading them.
What about Dick Hill’s performance did you like?
He made the story easy to understand the way he switched the narration. Great job.
