Historia
After the untimely death of his mentor, Berkeley physicist Joshua Andrews has dedicated himself to finishing his mentor’s life work: Creating entangled particles that can communicate faster than light. When scientific journalist Rachael Miller comes to interview him at his lab, they make an astounding discovery, one as ancient as the universe itself. During the early moments of the Big Bang, entangled particles were created that spread with the expansion of the universe creating a subatomic communication network - a network that Joshua and Rachael have accidentally tapped into.

Well done
Revisado: 01-23-22
This is my first independent roots audio book. It is well done and fun to feel the ideas and thoughts of another science fiction dreamer. I saw this displayed in the background of a YouTube video without recommendation. Thought I would give it a listen. Glad I did. I have mixed feelings about it, but I am left with satisfaction from the fun and entertaining ideas presented. The universe created is thought provoking. I was left with a feeling the main character was not Josh or Rachael, but humanity. I also felt the book touches on two ideologies in our world. Both are presented benignly in the book. That is where my mixed feeling about the story comes from. Well done. I recommend this book.

Translation Version is Good.
Revisado: 09-24-20
This is a good translation. Read more about Jules Verne translations and character names, i learned a lot by doing research before purchasing this. It’s Jules Verne, so no need to comment on the story. The narration is good, but could be better. The only reason i say this, the voice acting of the ailing and older characters are similarly over the top. The narrators voice is consistently distressed for characters of age or hardship regardless of character state. The tone and spirit of the narration did not change as the mentioned characters transitioned between hardship and glee. Having said that, it is an overall entertaining well done narration. Everything is clear, vivid, and the island’s mysteries come alive without distraction.

Stellar recount; a playbook for leading from the heart
Revisado: 08-12-20
Fluckey and good crew were talented, brave men. They also had good fortune in dealing a most obvious decision in US favor. “I believe in you” will go with me with new meaning for all time.
There is a Hollywood movie i watched long ago, a comedy i thought, then this book gave me insight to the origins of that story. I believe the light hearted wins that movie depict the feeling of trust and fun nature Fluckey has with good men under immense pressure.
A wonderful story of trust and leadership

A fine book filled with knowledge and stories.
Revisado: 02-26-20
This book is filled with valuable information related to groundbreaking programs running smoothly and successfully. The stories told in this book are entertaining as much as they are enlightening for talent or management. It is a truly enlightening journey that answered many questions for me as to why we, the USA, are leaders today. It is also a guide for the future of our country to remember what it takes to create great works of any kind. Fabulous book. I want to shake the hands of at least a couple people again after reading this.

Historia
With heart-pounding descriptions of avalanches and treacherous ascents, Barry Blanchard chronicles his transformation from a poor Native American/white kid from the wrong side of the tracks to one of the most respected alpinists in the world. At 13 he learned to rappel when he joined the 1292 Lord Strathcone's Horse Army Cadets. Soon kicked out for insubordination, he was already hooked on climbing and saw alpinism as a way to make his single mother proud and end his family's cycle of poverty.

Classic Brené Brown for the professional in us
Revisado: 03-20-19
She does it again and this time focusing on those professional fears we have every day. This book will most likely help you see things in a different and better way. She does a great job adding a couple personal notes that aren’t in the book. It’s not in addition, just clearly guiding focus on what would be easier to read on paper. Overall I recommend this to anyone in any walk of life, especially those in school or work. If the word perfect is in your vocabulary, this book is for you.

This is a book I wish I was made to read when I was in school. The topics discussed in this book will without a doubt change your thinking. It can even make difficult things to learn fun. The book isn’t for the math minded only, it is a book for anyone trying to become better at learning anything. The concepts and ideas in this book should be taught to teachers, and teachers to students before learning begins at any grade or education level. It’s like a cheat code to a better life of learning and understanding.

This performance is extremely well done. There are multiple actors with amazing talent narrating in a way that often made me feel it was a play before me. The cost is high, but so worth it! Highly recommend experiencing the book in this form. It felt much different than reading or the movie.

Thanks for sharing your story of love for your brother Gabe, Katie. — This book wasn’t something I would normally listen to. I’m so glad I did. This helped me understand so much more about how someone copes and works through such an immense loss. I liked her stories of God, they made me smile happily. My thoughts while listening to her words often reminded me that help is all around us and all we need is ask. From her openness it is easy to be inspired by her gentle words and strong heart. I wish for all good things for her and everyone reading or listening.

Historia
On January 14, 2015, Tommy Caldwell, along with his partner, Kevin Jorgeson, summited what is widely regarded as the hardest climb in history - Yosemite’s nearly vertical 3,000-foot Dawn Wall, after 19 days on the route. This engrossing memoir chronicles the journey of a boy with a fanatical mountain-guide father who was determined to instill toughness in his son to a teen whose obsessive nature drove him to the top of the sport-climbing circuit.

Highly recommend to anyone that has climbed or not
Revisado: 04-18-18
So many times this story of Tommy Caldwell's life had my emotions pouring and my attention riveted. This book vividly describes Tommy's family life and his journey to be a World class climber. No showboating at any point in this story of his journey he took dealing with so many life choices and trials. This book is so much more than a climbing book. It contains relationship insight, how some handle and deal with extreme terror, family love and support, the psychology of different people's drive to push, compassion, understanding, overcoming impossible physical trauma, and of course a telling of climbing that captures the essence of good true outdoor climbing. I think any level climber could walk away from this story with better knowledge and even more love for the walls.
