Historia
Gwen, a girl from the twenty-first century, was kidnapped back in time to become King Arthur's Queen Guinevere in book one, The Dragon Ring. In book two, The Bear's Heart, she presented Arthur with his heir. But a dark cloud hangs over her son's birth, and she can't be sure Arthur believes the baby is his, nor even if he still loves her. With a head full of the Arthurian legends, Gwen knows both too much and too little. She's a girl from her husband's future keeping all she knows a secret—out of fear some of it could be true.

A Sweeping Saga
Revisado: 02-19-23
This series keeps getting better and better! The attention to detail, perfect amount of historical reference to bring the time period to life, and such well-written characters will have you invested in the story right to the last word. If you haven't added Hadrian's Wall to your travel bucket list yet, you will after traveling along it with Gwen and Arthur. I can't wait for the release of Book 4.

Historia
In a time of murky history and confusing legends, Gwen, a girl from the twenty-first century who fell back in time to become King Arthur's Queen Guinevere, has no idea which of the tales told by her late father, a fanatical Arthurian scholar, are true. Her worst fear is that history is fixed, and she might be merely treading a path long laid down for her, that she can do nothing to alter.

A Fantastic 2nd book in a series
Revisado: 02-19-23
The second book in the series, the legend of Arthur and Guinevere are given life, and the story kept getting better and better. This is no Disney-filtered story. The descriptive writing has brought the well-researched historical facts to life while pulling you in to the relationship of this special couple. I feel like I have visited Dark Ages Britain, and I can't wait to read/listen to the next in the series.

Historia
Gwen, a 24-year-old librarian, lives with her boyfriend, Nathan, in a small house, with all the accoutrements of modern living any girl could ask for. When her father dies, it's left to Gwen to fulfill her father's wishes and scatter his ashes on the top of Glastonbury Tor in Somerset, England. Stepping into the ruined church tower, a gold ring catches her eye—a ring embossed with a dragon emblem. She's snatched into the dangerous world of the Dark Ages, where she discovers she's expected to fulfill a prophecy, by marrying Prince Arthur and helping him become the king of legend.

A Legend Brought to Life!
Revisado: 02-19-23
This was such a fantastic story to listen to! The narration was perfect, but the story itself was stupendous. I have always been intrigued by Arthurian Legends, but the author has brought him to life. Highly recommend!

Historia
Paul Bäumer is just 19 years old when he and his classmates enlist. They are Germany’s Iron Youth who enter the war with high ideals and leave it disillusioned or dead. As Paul struggles with the realities of the man he has become, and the world to which he must return, he is led like a ghost of his former self into the war’s final hours. All Quiet is one of the greatest war novels of all time, an eloquent expression of the futility, hopelessness and irreparable losses of war.
