Disappointing

I am a huge fan of this author and I own most of her books and re-read them. However this book was a disappointment. The story was boring, dialogue was repetitive and the heroine’s thoughts were childish and quite frankly ridiculous most of the time. Even the narration was boring and the male voice seemed not engaged in his performance. This book is not worth a credit, had potential, but didn’t deliver.

Slight let down

Would have given this book a 5 star rating, but the narration was disappointing. The other books in the series were narrated by Angelica Lee who is the best! These narrators were boring and the male voice was worse then the female’s. Still worth a read, because Samantha Young is such a great storyteller!

Huge let down!

The only good thing I can say about this book was the narration. I have loved this series so much, and wanted to love this book, but I absolutely did not. Kristen Ashley has always written slightly quirky characters, but writing weird for the sake of weird seemed to be her goal here. The sex elements in this story were not good, from the Dom stuff with Rebel’s brother and the parts with Baneto just seemed really gross to me, not a subject I want to read. I think that Kristen, from her last series she wrote wanted to put that element in this book. Didn’t want to read about the whole Dom, Sub thing with that series, really didn’t want that in my Chaos books either. All in all this book just wasn’t worth my time and I plan on returning it, because this is a book I would NEVER re-read again!

Not worth your time

I will be returning this book! I hope Andy never has to work with Tor Thom again, he is one of the worse male narraters I have ever heard read for romance. Maybe for another subject, but not this one! Absolutely ruined this read. A really good narrator can make a okay read seem great, but even if this was a really good story, you can’t get past how bad he is.

Amazing read

Typical great right by Mariana Zapata. Great story, character development and heart. But the best part of the story was the narration. This was the perfect duel narration, where both the hero and heroine‘s voices are done by both the male and female narrator‘s. Worth the credit, excellent listen!

Childish writing

First time reading this author and unsure if I will read her again. Her story was good, but the dialog was so ridiculous. The characters were 30, but talked like they were teenagers. There are so many other titles to read with better writing that I won’t be following this series. And not with these narrators! They did not enhance the story.

Great read!!

I absolutely loved this story! The way Mariana Zapata developed the relationship between Ruby and Aaron was clever, witty and beautifully romantic. To read each letter and see how they come to mean to each other, without ever seeing each other, was lovely to read. Mariana has a way of writing that speaks to your heart and I loved every minute of this read. And the duel narration was flawless. I wish I could give this book more then 5 stars. Obviously a credit worthy book, but even without a credit I recommend this one for all of you true romantics out there. Happy reading!

Awesome read!!

This was a fantastic read! First the story had humor, heart and great dialog and characters. I felt the story was well developed. But what was the absolute best part of this listen was the duel narration! This is the way to do narration when 2 narrators are involved. I could close my eyes and see the story playing out as if I were watching a movie. Can't heap enough praise about author, story and narration. It was just the perfect trifecta. Definitely worth a purchase, credit or not.

Horrible narration

The problem with this book is the fact it was read by a horrible narrator! I will never read a book read by her EVER! I believe that I would have given a better review if I had read it on my Kindle. This is a case of a bad narrater making a average story a book you will never want to pick up and read again. This was also my first time reading this author and I don't think I will try reading her again, there are so many other titles and authors I would prefer.

The writing style was boring, I couldn't even finish it. Will be returning it. The narraters couldn't do the male and female voices at all well.
