It is often hard to find modern dialogue from the Orthodox Church engaging with Jewish thoughts and ideas. This book does a great job diving into the differences between both religions while also showing the authors own personal spiritual growth in his faith. Ultimately stumbling upon Orthodox Christianity, the answer to many of his theological questions are found and are very similar to ideas found in his Jewish roots. When there are differences, the author takes time to carefully examine both positions and explain why the orthodox position makes most sense, whether in relation to Judaism, Protestantism, or Catholicism.
