I am a vaper and this was a very insightful listen to the history of vaping, very intriguing and worthwhile listen if you have any interest in the subject.

I don't know if its the way the author reads it, or the way its written, but It feels like all the main characters are kids, even though they aren't? I don't know, I mean I like the narrators voice, but something just doesn't fit and I can't get into the story at all

Not a Fan

There was only a few moments that actually held my attention. the combination of narration and storyline left my mind wandering and I didn't really retain anything from the audiobook. I am a huge fan of the expanse series, but this was a hard miss for me.

I'm stuck between books right now. started 3 books and can't get into any of them so I'm bouncing between them just trying to get them to end. bought them on a 2for1 sale so I can't return them, but if return this one if I could.

none of the characters are likeable, I find them all annoying, in only a few hours into the book, and I never read reviews before listening to a new book, but if it starts to rub me wrong and doesn't get any better, I'll check reviews to see if others felt the same way. saw at least one other review that seems to confirm that this book is doomed to fall short of my expectations. I guess I'll just keep bouncing between these books until they're finished and hope they get better.

this is an amazing story, amazing narrator. I've got 4 books that I've currently started, but none of them grab me. just listen to the sample. it's poetic, it's exciting, it's great. this will be one of the few stand outs in my 6 years of audible. can't believe there are only 5 other reviews in this edition. the music really sets the mood. this is my first book track edition, reminds of of the audible productions that include sounds effects. I love love love the additional complimentary sounds, it's like listening to a movie. sad to look up book track and find they shut down on 2019. I don't write reviews, and I haven't even finished the book, but only 5 reviews, I had to put my 2 cents. will be getting the second book in the trilogy, but missing the book track music backing sadly. great story, great narrator, can't recommend enough. this will be a repeat listen for me.

I feel like it might be an ok listen with a better narrator... I find myself zoning out and not hearing what he's saying until something catches my attention and I realize I don't know what's going on in the story because he's voice is lacking energy and enthusiasm. his voice is nice, might be better suited for a different genre though. I try not to read reviews before I buy a book because I feel other people's reviews preempt my own perception, but I'm only a couple hours in and had to read reviews to see if it's just me, and it's not. so I'll save this for bed time or a plane flight, I can barely tell that the story has something to do with zombies and I barely know one characters name.

Fantastic

I really enjoyed this book. I am looking for inspiration to write my own autobiography and share my story and this has been incredible. I found that I identified with a lot of the struggles he shared, however set in a completely foreign culture to me. thank you.
