the battles between a couple people last HOURS. i had to skip so many times and then there was a hours dungeon part where literally nothing advanced. bad

great story and performance by the narrator but..

every single character is the same person. The romance makes no sense and all the characters use the exact same words and thinks the same. top it off with the weird sexual stuff that feels like it was written by a person who hasn't had any relations at all and it's a bad combo. if it wasn't for these things this book would be great however as it stands it's very difficult to look past. The whole 1000 year old guy makes no sense either considering he's basically a child.

my only issue is how grating his voice is when talking in a female voice. I cannot state how much his questioning and poorly inflected voice ruins it. Needs a separate narrator for female voices.

so.. my only complaint and I really enjoy the story so far is the inconsistency of the system. He spent 7 months in a dungeon fighting and leveling, makes sense he got stronger right? well in one week out of the dungeon he gains nearly as much. Why? no idea he does exactly what he did in the dungeon but it's just less dangerous.

ok, everyone is a mage but the army uses spears and swords and bows. enemies don't really have magic for some reason. Why is the army using swords and armor but for some reason not magic. can you please explain how any of this is logical? if everyone has magic why do some people just NOT USE ANY MAGIC. Please just explain how this works. i don't know if I haven't listened far enough but regardless it's been a couple hours and absolutely none of this makes sense. Oh also the main character is a complete dribbling, mouth breathing moron.

holy cow these books have become hours and hours of useless rambling and explaining. each attack doesn't need a 10 minute inner dialogue and 90 percent of the things that are explained are just not important to the story. I could skip most of the book and not miss much. Another thing you don't need to spend HOURS on him cultivating.

the biggest issue I have is how absolutely dumb and empty headed the MC is. All he does is swear and be a complete moron who can't put the most ABSOLUTELY OBVIOUS stuff together. I normally don't complain about the main character being a little dumb, but this guy is a complete moron, like ungodly so.

ok I like this series, however my god author stop saying a brigade of ants, a squadron of ants, a troop of ants. I felt bitter saliva in my mouth, I spat out bitter saliva. As a reader the constant repetition of words and sentences is so obnoxious. Also please stop saying kiddo and also apparently everyone else in the book also uses the word kiddo, seriously, a primordial being says "it's just a kiddo"? is every character the same person? every single character talks like they are the same person. also the levels make no sense and actually nothing makes sense when it comes to how powerful people are, your saying you deal 100k damage but 100 damage kills level 30s but only with your sword? I mean remove the damage system and this makes sense. Also not every place he goes needs to be destroyed and have fighting constantly, literally every place he finds everyone is killing each other or enslaving each other. this world would not live for more than a week.

I dont understand these reviews, I had to skip at least 2 to 3 hours worth of stats, system information and just down right useless chapters. what even progressed in the story?

I dont understand the characters, it feels like I'm jumping from one place to another and the characters are probably the flattest I've heard. not sure why this has a high score, can't finish.
