Historia
King of comedy? Well if anyone were to be accorded that accolade right now it would have to be Peter Kay. In the last five years he has risen to the top of the comedy world with astonishing speed. He has had record-breaking tours, TV shows, and even a number-one single. Add to that an appearance in Dr Who and what else is there left to do? More of the same one suspects, as Kay is still a young man.

Any additional comments?
Interesting background to Peter Kay's life and rise. The narrator had good and bad points....his Bolton accent was great but some of his intonation I struggled with.

Historia
Slide "Further Under the Duvet", get yourself comfortable, and let Marian take you places you've never been before. Places like the Irish air-guitar championships, a shopping trip to Bloomingdales with a difference, and Cannes with a chronic case of Villa-itis. Along the way you'll encounter knicker-politics, fake tans, sticky-out ears and passionate love affairs both with make-up and Toblerones.

Marian Keyes....perhaps not quite at her best?

Any additional comments?
I love Marian Keyes although in general I prefer her long books rather than this series of articles. However, many still made me laugh out loud although I wasn't as much a fan of this narrator as Marian herself who I'm sure read 'Under the Duvet' and Rachel's Holiday herself.....and what's with the Audible person presenting....under the dooovaaay!?

Historia
Mma Ramotswe and Mma Makutsi have always relied on the advice of the classic guide to their trade, The Principles of Private Detection. But who is the eminent author, Mr Clovis Andersen, and what if he was to come to Botswana? That seems a very unlikely possibility, and yet… When Mr Andersen visits Botswana on holiday, he is delighted and intrigued to stumble across a roadside sign that reveals the existence of the No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency.

Historia
In present-day Cambridge, Abi, a recently ordained priest of the Church of England, is appointed to a notoriously difficult parish. The priest in charge is the charismatic but fundamentalist Kier. He objects to her mysticism, her practice of healing in particular. When she sees a vision of a congregation in an old church, Kier accuses her of witchcraft, but Abi soon sees more visions; an entire Roman family history dark with betrayal and a promise of bloody revenge.

another ghosty story
Revisado: 06-18-12
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
It was all right - I'd recommend better
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
just got a bit long winded towards the end, especially the present tense [the ghosty bit was better!]
Which character – as performed by Janice Mackenzie – was your favorite?
I thought she was a good narrator, making the men and women different and with a variety of English accents
Was Time’s Legacy worth the listening time?
Yes - i still like Barbara Erskine's ideas and especially the way she flipped in and out of times

Historia
As the countdown to Mma Makutsi’s wedding begins, all is not as it should be at the No.1 Ladies’ Detective Agency. While investigating unpleasant occurrences on a southern cattle-post, Mma Ramotswe, always on the side of the weak against the strong, has reason to reflect on Rule No.3 of The Principles of Private Detection: never lie to the client. Apprentice mechanic Charlie seems to be avoiding certain important responsibilities.
