The sodomy was too much.
Revisado: 04-02-25
Too much hypocrisy in general. The whole series needed tweaking which probably would have made it a good story.

Historia
King. Warrior. Lover. Brian Boru was stronger, braver, and wiser than all other men-the greatest king Ireland has ever known. Out of the mists of the country's most violent age, he merged to lead his people to the peak of their golden era. His women were as remarkable as his adventures: Fiona, the druidess with mystical powers; Deirdre, beautiful victim of a Norse invader's brutal lust; Gormlaith, six-foot, red-haired goddess of sensuality.

Horrible women’s voices
Revisado: 02-03-25
All of the women/girls sound like they’re 90 yrs old. The men/boys aren’t much better.

Historia
After the War of the Gods, the demons were cast out and fell to the world. Mankind was nearly eradicated by the seemingly unstoppable beasts until the gods sent the great hero, Ramrowan, to save them. He united the tribes, gave them magic, and drove the demons into the sea. Ever since, the land has belonged to man, and the oceans have remained an uncrossable hell, leaving the continent of Lok isolated.

My favorite narrator
Revisado: 01-15-25
The only reason I stuck with this cliché battle of the classes is because of Tim G. Reynolds. After hearing “…after I rape your corpse…” is when I knew it was over for this series.

Historia
With indifferent parents, Iona Sheehan grew up craving devotion and acceptance. From her maternal grandmother, she learned where to find both: a land of lush forests, dazzling lakes, and centuries-old legends. Ireland. County Mayo, to be exact. Where her ancestors’ blood and magic have flowed through generations - and where her destiny awaits. Iona arrives in Ireland with nothing but her Nan’s directions, an unfailingly optimistic attitude, and an innate talent with horses.

Meh
Revisado: 11-30-23
The narration was over the top and too loud. All of the Irish women sounded like they were old ladies. The story was predictable once they were in present day.
