Lots Of Detailed Sex

The story in itself was good. The reading was pretty much spot on. Definitely sound like the characters would. My only dislike is the amount of graphic sex scenes. I'm about as far away from prudish as you can get, but it seems like some of these books just throw in overly graphic sex scenes to take up words. As a reader, it takes away some of the impact when it happens so much.

Very enjoyable story. It doesn't get overly deep but just enough to give you some backstory. The narrator was good but most of the time, it seemed like she was trying a little too hard. Overall I really enjoyed it.

Did not enjoy it!

I have been completely in love with this series... until now. The performance was good, the story, not so much. The beginning was just a bunch of love stories shoved together. I actually skipped half of the book until I pushed to play and it didn't sound like a horrible love soap opera. PLUS... the main character is even more whiny and weak in this book. Everyone around her is doing everything they can and all she does is whine. So disappointed! I really don't know if I care to continue with the series after this book.

I have enjoyed all the books in this series so far. while this one was good, it wasn't on the same level as the others. I think my biggest problem was the weakness of the main character. I know she has to grow into her powers but she is so whiny and scared all the time! you just want to shake her and tell her to suck it up! LOL. still enjoyable. about to purchase the next one to continue...

Well worth a read!

After reading other reviews, I was hesitant to read it. I figured I could get away with not knowing Sage's story. However, I'm extremely glad that I did! It in itself was a wonderful story and now I look forward to listening to the next book even more! the performance was good but some of the pronunciations were a little annoying and also the lack of variation in her voice. Not inflection, but variation. If 1 was completely boring and 10 just way too dramatic, the reader's voice stayed no lower than a 6.5. definitely not something to keep anyone from listening but something that was a little annoying. All in all, a wonderful book!

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I found the voice of one of the main characters to be a little annoying. In the beginning, it was a little difficult to get used to switching from one character's viewpoint to another's. neither of these issues is reason not to enjoy the book! I found myself laughing, crying, angry and smiling with love. I listened to the whole book in two days while I was packing. A very good book!
