Historia
Brown bears lead deeply cyclical lives. They need to gain sometimes hundreds of pounds during the warmer months to prepare for winter hibernation, a lifestyle that brings them into frequent contact with many other species’ cycles. In this episode, we meander through the Alaska peninsula with a bear and her cubs as she teaches them to hunt salmon at the falls, dig for clams along the coastal mudflats, and use the regional rubbing tree.

I really enjoyed the story of the brown bear in Alaska. The narrator has such a calming voice. Cannot wait to try the others in this series.

Love the story
Revisado: 03-28-25
I love almost everything about this story. The plot, the characters, the drama and intrigue. I love that it is a book that supports belief in Christ.
The only thing I dislike (and very much dislike) is the virtual voice. I miss the natural inflections and nuances that a human voice would bring to the story. Also, the virtual voice mispronounces words which if not recognized by the listener, could be very confusing.
I really wish Audible had the option for me to purchase the series with real humans reading the book. If I had the time to sit down and read the series, I’d buy the physical copies instead.

I really like the story and the sound of the virtual voice. The only thing I don’t like about virtual voice is that the nuances of the story get lost, sentences end abruptly and the voices have no inflection.

I really like the story but I found the narrator’s voice a bit odd. Some of the female voices are screechy and the lead male’s voice seems just as sketchy as the villain’s. But overall I loved this series.

Clean language, fun story with some danger and intrigue. With a huge dose of clean romance.
Revisado: 07-06-24
I really appreciate finding biblically appropriate romance novels. The added element of danger in each book also makes it interesting. I love the way that the author demonstrates that a woman can be strong and yet not demeaning to her husband.
Books by this author have helped me to be more confident about myself, God and my husband. Thank you.

Romantic, clean and funny
Revisado: 06-11-24
I really like the mix of real life stuff with absolute hilarity. The part of the story of the new police officer coming upon Adam and his sister gardening at night is priceless.
I also like how much I can relate to this story. I’m pretty sure anyone who has ever lived in a small town can relate people in this story.
My only complaint is that there aren’t any more series by this author that I have found. I wish for more.
