fantastic production design
Revisado: 07-12-24
Solid story with good characters. I think I would have liked it a little more with fewer pov changes as it sometimes made it changing to remember who these characters are and what they were doing. The bad guys have a cool design and I hope their motivations get more fleshed out in the next book.
If you've never heard a modern Star Wars audiobook you're in for a treat. Great John Williams music throughout, lots of sounds effects for weapons/ships/distortion for people in masks. it really brings an extra piece to the immersion of the story. Fantastic reader as well.

Historia
Although it ended over 550 years ago, the Hundred Years' War still looms large in the historical consciousness of England and France, even if the name of the famous war is a misnomer. Actually a series of separate conflicts between the English and French monarchies, interspersed with periods of peace, its historical image is an odd one, in part because its origins were based on royal claims that dated back centuries.

the hundred years war in an hour?
Revisado: 04-04-21
Way too short for such an expansive topic. I didn't pay enough attention to run time when I purchased. Don't make my mistake.

Historia
Aza Holmes never intended to pursue the disappearance of fugitive billionaire Russell Pickett, but there’s a hundred-thousand-dollar reward at stake and her Best and Most Fearless Friend, Daisy, is eager to investigate. So together, they navigate the short distance and broad divides that separate them from Pickett’s son Davis. Aza is trying. She is trying to be a good daughter, a good friend, a good student, and maybe even a good detective, while also living within the ever-tightening spiral of her own thoughts.

perspective
Revisado: 09-05-20
It was weird. I didn't love it when it was happening but I missed it when it was gone. Impacts are hard to notice until you have the perspective of time, and distance.
