Number two in this series, The Dresden Files, is not the most gripping, but has some important details of character and unvierse progression. just hang in there and wait for the next ones. Ok read and listen, but repeats itself too much. Mr.Marsters is brilliant as always.

Give it a try. Not all the books in the series hold the same level, but all in all its entertaining.
Mr.Marsters is a great narrator.

Just go with the flow of the narrator :-) pluss it is very educational. It is not mindblowing, but for easy listening it is enjoyable.

If you like haunted house stories, this is a great book for you.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Hell House?
To put it blunt: When bad sh*t starts to happen.
What does Ray Porter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He really brings the story to life with the way he alternates his voice to the different characters, and his emphasis on emotions isnt cheesy.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Sure, but didnt have the time.

The Narrator can hardly speak. Its almost like he whispers.
