Historia
In Beyond the Messy Truth, Jones offers a blueprint for transforming our collective anxiety into meaningful change. Tough on Donald Trump but showing respect and empathy for his supporters, Jones takes aim at the failures of both parties before and after Trump's victory. He urges both sides to abandon the politics of accusation and focus on real solutions. Calling us to a deeper patriotism, he shows us how to get down to the vital business of solving, together, some of our toughest problems.

As a hard core constitutional conservative I enjoyed this book
Revisado: 06-01-18
Van Jones seems to be one of the very few liberals who actually understands and (on some level) appreciates conservatives and our values. Don’t get me wrong, he didn’t sway me at all on my core conservative values & I don’t think that was his intent.
It just makes sense that if we’re going to put the country back together we need to start with the vast number of things we agree on. Not the few things that separate us. That I believe is the point of this book.

Another great ride by Brad Thor
Revisado: 07-23-17
Summer is really summer until I get my new Bad Thor book and this one certainly does not disappoint. I wait each year for the new one to come out and I could not have been happier with this edition. Following Scott through all the nooks and crannies is an incredible ride. Brad once again did not phone this one in.

Interesting premise, but a bridge too far in the end.
Revisado: 06-25-17
Without giving any real serious spoilers here the storyline was interesting and plausible to a point. But in the end it seemed to be more of the writers fantasy of how he'd transform into a seal team 6 operative when the sh*t hits the fan.

Historia
Google Executive Chairman and ex-CEO Eric Schmidt and former SVP of Products Jonathan Rosenberg came to Google over a decade ago as proven technology executives. At the time, the company was already well-known for doing things differently, reflecting the visionary - and frequently contrarian - principles of founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin. If Eric and Jonathan were going to succeed, they realized they would have to relearn everything they thought they knew about management and business.
