I am addicted to and, a little in love, with Harry Bosch. Connelly has brought this character to life. Welliver’s reading only adds to his perfection of Bosch.

Historia
1944. Physics professor Alfred Mendel and his family were trying to flee Paris when they were caught and forced onto a train, along with thousands of other Jewish families. At the other end of the long, torturous train ride, Alfred is separated from his family and sent to the men’s camp, where all of his belongings are tossed on a roaring fire. His books, his papers, his life’s work. The Nazis have no idea what they have just destroyed. And without that physical record, Alfred is one of only two people in the world with his particular knowledge. Knowledge that could start a war, or end it.

I have never had a book so good that I had to stop reading it to calm my nerves! I became so caught up in this book that I felt I was there experiencing it with these wonderful characters created by Mr. Gross. It kept me on the edge of my seat through the horrors of what man has done to man in war.
Our heroes are often simple men of humble beginnings who put the lives of others before their own for God, country and family. Bloom is one such man who must break Into hell to retrieve the one man who may save the world from killing itself. Bravo Mr. Gross for a really great read.

Historia
Emerson Knight is introverted and eccentric and has little to no sense of social etiquette. Good thing he's also brilliant, rich, and (some people might say) handsome, or he'd probably be homeless. Riley Moon has just graduated from Harvard Business and Harvard Law. Her aggressive Texas spitfire attitude has helped her land her dream job as a junior analyst with megabank Blane-Grunwald. At least Riley Moon thought it was her dream job, until she is given her first assignment: babysitting Emerson Knight.

New author Miller has knocked it out of the park. It is rare that I review a book. The great authors you already know and most of the new ones are okay but not great. Add Randall Miller to your great list and have a listen!
His character development of Mark Landry and this plot, leaves you waiting for round two. I'm waiting Mr. Miller....

I love finding new authors who know how to keep a book flowing, how to create believable characters, and how to break a few rules for the sake of a terrific story. Talking Dick Hill into performing book, makes Tigner a genius. Thanks for the great read

I rarely review a book, but I am hooked on this series! You will not be disappointed but do start with his first, "Japantown", and you will be hooked as well.
If you are familiar with the series, this book will take you deeper into the character and into the mysterious underground of Japan. I don't want to give anything away but the plot is laid out for you in the book descriptions available online.
What a great read and a fantastic immersion into this authors world of words!

Revisado: 01-24-16
Rosenberg is a true artist and extremely knowledgable when it comes to biblical and middle eastern subjects and situations but never crams his beliefs down your throat but rather leDs you there.
This book is ACTION packed with believable characters that you find yourself speaking out loud to as they fight for their survival.
It speaks to ISIS fighters trying to bring about the end times so they may claim their victory. It's real and he takes you there. His best book ever!

Historia
With courage, grace, and powerful insight, bestselling author Kristin Hannah captures the epic panorama of World War II and illuminates an intimate part of history seldom seen: the women's war. The Nightingale tells the stories of two sisters, separated by years and experience, by ideals, passion and circumstance, each embarking on her own dangerous path toward survival, love, and freedom in German-occupied, war-torn France—a heartbreakingly beautiful novel that celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the durability of women. It is a novel for everyone, a novel for a lifetime.

An amazing story of heroism, survival and love. I listened in one sitting not able to stop! The historical look at the resistance and those who joined it was fascinating. A beautiful story through the eyes of the women in France who survived it to tell us. Much truth is told in these fictional pages. One of my favorite books of all time.
