Historia
Since September 11, 2001, the Western world has been preoccupied with Islam and its role in terrorism. Yet, public debate about the faith is polarized. One camp praises "the religion of peace", while the other claims all Muslims are terrorists. Canadian human rights activist Yasmine Mohammed believes both sides are dangerously wrong. In Unveiled: How Western Liberals Empower Radical Islam, Yasmine speaks her truth as a woman born in the Western world yet raised in a fundamentalist Islamic home. Despite being a first-generation Canadian, she never felt at home in the West.

Courageous
Revisado: 11-07-23
I loved this book. it was well written and well read by the author. I received a first hand account of how it is for many Muslim women and girls around the world and it breaks my heart. To the author: thank you for sharing your experience. It is very courageous of you to share this information regardless of the backlash you may have received. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Historia
Since he was a small boy, Mosab Hassan Yousef has had an inside view of the deadly terrorist group Hamas. The oldest son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a founding member of Hamas and its most popular leader, young Mosab assisted his father for years in his political activities while being groomed to assume his legacy, politics, status...and power. But everything changed when Mosab turned away from terror and violence and embraced instead the teachings of another famous Middle East leader.

Enlightening
Revisado: 10-31-23
I enjoyed the book from beginning to end and gained a first hand perspective regarding his experience with Hamas, Palestinians, and Israel. He is an example of how Jesus can work in our lives for good no matter who or where we are. Thank you Mosab for your honesty and bravery. May God watch over you and protect you while guiding you on your path in this life.
