Thank you!

Books one and two got me addicted to this series, really book 1 did that by itself, but they both have such powerful cliff-hanger endings that I couldn't even wait a day before listening to the next one. Thank you for putting a satisfying, yet still intriguing ending for book 3 because I don't think my heart could have taken any more. That being said .... book 4, here I come!

Historia
The sci-fi saga that began with the breakout best seller Illuminae continues onboard the Jump Station Heimdall, where two new characters will confront the next wave of the BeiTech assault. Hanna is the station captain's pampered daughter, Nik the reluctant member of a notorious crime family. But while the pair are struggling with the realities of life aboard the galaxy's most boring space station, little do they know that Kady Grant and the Hypatia are headed right toward Heimdall, carrying news of the Kerenza invasion.

Historia
Audie Award, Multi-Voiced Performance, 2016. The year is 2575, and two rival mega-corporations are at war over a planet that's little more than an ice-covered speck at the edge of the universe. Too bad nobody thought to warn the people living on it. With enemy fire raining down on them, Kady and Ezra - who are barely even talking to each other - are forced to fight their way onto one of the evacuating fleet, with an enemy warship in hot pursuit.

an unexpected two thumbs up
Revisado: 10-28-18
I thought I'd made a mistake with this book. The "case files" way of telling the story was irritating to being with, I'm a very visual person so I might have enjoyed it more in print, but I quickly got used to it and the author was right to tell the story this way! it really helps get you into the story from the perspective of someone there, since you only know the parts of the story that have been presented to you, instead of having a bird's eye view of everything really going on. It was unpredictable, great twists and turns. Thankfully I downloaded the second book before leaving home today, now if you'll excuse me I need to start listening to it.

Easy, entertaining Si-Fi Listen
Revisado: 05-23-18
I've listened to this book, and the first in the series multiple times. They're easy listens and engaging. Think Harry Potter level of ready difficulty. Great descriptions and it's easy to imagine the scenes playing out.

Historia
In 2009, Susannah Cahalan woke up in a strange hospital room strapped to a bed, under guard, and unable to move or speak. Her medical records - from a month-long hospital stay of which she had no memory - reported psychosis, violence, and dangerous instability. Yet, only weeks earlier she had been a healthy, ambitious twenty-four-year-old, six months into her first serious relationship and a sparkling career as a cub reporter

a must read. a powerful story that isn't cheesy, overly-dramatic, and isn't wearing any makeup. it's real, it's raw, and it's powerful.

Historia
She used to work for the US government, but very few people ever knew that. An expert in her field, she was one of the darkest secrets of an agency so clandestine it doesn't even have a name. And when they decided she was a liability, they came for her without warning. Now she rarely stays in the same place or uses the same name for long. They've killed the only other person she trusted, but something she knows still poses a threat. They want her dead, and soon.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes. I listened to it at work, driving home, and when I was at home. Besides sleeping, I listened to it straight through - it's one you get so wrapped up in.

Historia
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

whatever the audiobook version of "I couldn't put it down" is, well that is my review. great book. great writing, character development, and the reading was well done. a movie played in my head the entire time I was listening. if you like realistic science fiction, getting emotionally involved, etc then you need to read (or listen) to this book.
