Really hard to follow the message being portrayed, character development lacking. The story felt untold at the end. Just unsavory people being cruel.

Maybe reading the book vs listening to it would have been different. The narration of the main character just grated on me! She sounded like the most uptight, unromantic nerd ever to grace this earth! Then to find out later in the book she had a gorgeous physique was just too much to believe. What a waste of time!
