Historia
Sigmund Freud once said: ‘The great question that has never been answered, and which I have not yet been able to answer, despite my thirty years of research into the feminine soul, is “What does a woman want?”' Through the relatable and moving stories of seven very different women, Maxine Mei-Fung Chung refutes this inscrutability and sheds light on our most fundamental needs and desires. What Women Want presents a fearless look into the depths of who we are so that we can better understand each other and ourselves.

Blatantly Misleading Title
Revisado: 11-28-24
This is a collection of stories based on her most over-the-top, broken women in her therapy practice. It offers zero insights into the desires of mentally healthy women making it useless to me. The narration is well done with very few mispronunciations.

A Treasure of a Find with a Misleading Title
Revisado: 08-06-18
One of the best guides to accelerated, enduring learning available. This expounds on the lessons presented in the author’s free, online course called Learning How to Learn. It is so unfortunate that many people will see the title and immediately assume this is tome limited to math and science education and learning. It is not, the techniques and tips provided apply to humanities and even athletic learning. This is not really a storybook, so I could not give it a high rating in that category, but I can not recommend this book enough to anyone who wants to improve their training/studying methods. I am so happy to be freed of non-productive techniques like high-lighting passages, re-reading passages and endless repetitive drills (massed practice).

Going Beyond Active Listening
Revisado: 08-15-17
This book is full of useful advice and brimming with specific, real-world examples. Now that I've made my first pass through this book I need to ruminate for a while and start putting the suggestions into practice. I look forward to re-listening to this again in the not too distant future to help solidify the principles in my mind.
