This is a a very helpful book! I have learned so much! This set of sermons has helped me clear things I didn’t have certainty about so that I could discard those that aren’t helping my growth in Christ and hold on to the Biblical truths that are.
Clear teaching, sound doctrine and so much Godly wisdom in a powerful set!
I’m so thankful!

Historia
Are we hapless victims of life's whims? Are we driven along by some blind and impersonal force? A thousand times, "No!" says pastor and author Alistair Begg. Instead, Begg says we are the objects of God's providential care. We reside under his guiding and protecting hand. In this richly textured study of Joseph's life, listeners will discover God at work shaping Joseph's circumstances so that he can ultimately redeem and reconcile his family. And they'll see the hand of God in their own lives, lovingly guiding them through their disappointments and struggles to a place of peace.

Alistair Begg hasn’t disappointed me yet. His books are spot on and easy to understand. I ordered a hard copy from Truth for Life and gave it away to a lady in UNCH who had just found out her husband had terminal cancer. So glad I did. I highly recommend this book!

Historia
Homosexuality is one of the most controversial moral issues of our day. Headlines teem with stories of athletes "coming out", politicians changing positions, and courts handing down same sex marriage rulings. Sadly, the church has often been afraid to talk about homosexuality. Many Christians feel confused and divided between the call to love and the call for truth. The time is ripe for God's people to think and speak about same sex attraction in a way that is both biblical and beneficial. Love into Light is designed to move the church toward that end.

Revisado: 07-08-18
Having read Mrs Rosaria Butterfield’s book that is very insightful and life changing, I believe this book Love into Light is another very helpful book! It’s helpful to anyone who desires to know how to love people genuinely and sets straight many issues that we as Christians have been confused about either by our own hardness of heart, poor studying habits and lack of good, sound teaching of scripture. Thank God for Peter Hubbard that dared to love the unlovable! God bless you!

I really enjoyed this book! Having been raised by parents that strongly believed in a humanistic perspective, I came to know Christ as my Saviour when I was 23. After years of following a legalistic view of God because of the denomination I was in, through much soul search I came across this wonderful book! I regret not having read it years ago and strongly encourage EVERYONE to read it now! Thank you Mr Strobel for this masterpiece and the time you took to help us understand why we can be assertive about our faith in Christ! To God be the Glory!!

Historia
Cracking the communication code between husband and wife involves understanding one thing: that unconditional respect is as powerful for him as unconditional love is for her. It's the secret to marriage that every couple seeks, and yet few couples ever find. While both men and women deserve both love and respect, in the midst of conflict the driving need for a woman is love and the driving need for a man is respect. When either of these needs isn’t met, things get crazy. Based on over three decades of counseling, as well as scientific and biblical research, Love and Respect is for anyone.
